The 2023 season was wrapped up on 20 April with the annual awards banquet at Richards Pub. This is a great opportunity every year to get families together to celebrate everyone’s accomplishments on the water and the great food is also a plus! Congratulations to our big winners! Marty won 5 total awards consisting of 3 annual awards and 1 monthly which secured his 2023 Angler of the Year award. Other notable winners were Courtney who won 4 total awards consisting of 2 annuals and 2 monthly awards. Ryan also won 3 awards which were all monthly tournament winners. There were also several others who won. For a full list of award winners please look under the “Tournament Standings” tab and select “2023 Results”. Hi everyone,
I was greatly disappointed because I couldn’t attend our banquet. Time and unforeseen circumstances befall us all. It’s the 1st banquet I have missed in all my years, which are so many, excellent years. Good grief, I can’t remember when I joined, I do remember going to the senior center for a few years until we changed it. Congratulations Marty, job very well done. Don’t put any more sinkers in the fish, it can give them gas or indigestion. Lol. Courtney, you have made Uncle Bob so proud, my buttons popped off my shirt 😘. Ryan, great job 👏👍. Make sure you take care of our club’s beautiful baby girl. I can speak for all our members. You are a true Lady, our fishing Lady of the club. Superb job on our website.🙏 I am done passing the bread, hang on to it, the baloney is on the way.

The Al Pellini memorial tournament will be held in lieu of our June meeting. Please watch for an email asking for boat availability and interested riders. At stake is one point for the winner going towards Angler of the Year honors. Good luck to all and I hope to see you on the water.
